  • Julie Wade and Jordan Chase invited Rotarians to a fundraising party to support fellow Metrotarians running for office - Denise Grabowski for District 1 school board and Lee Perry for County Tax Commissioner.  The event was Tues, March 3 from 5:30-7:00 at the Wade's residence and was limited to Metrotarians and spouses/partners. This was not an official Metro event. 
  • Erika Morrow announced an event called What She Wants that will take place on April 4 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at ForSight. Local makers will be there and it's free to the public.
  • Mike Nadeau announced it's race season!  Look forward to the Cure for Cancer Komen Race, Publix Women's Half (use code CECILIA10 for 10% discount off registration), and Make-a-Wish Trail Run.
  • Jenny Woodruff gave a shout-out to Mike Nadeau and Fleet Feet for getting some new running shoes so she can chase her son around.
  • Bret Bell gave a shout-out to Suzy Wallace for transporting our GRSP student around and connecting her to Darron Alvord for dental work.
  • Cari Clark Phelps gave a shout-out to Patrick Phelps, Cody Tharpe, and Jason Somers for their project, Perry Lane Hotel, as the host hotel for the American Idol filming
  • Jamie Arkins announced that Sarah Smith was on the cover of Ardsley Park Living
  • Orlando Montoya is looking for a room to rent, ideally near Abercorn, ideally someone professional - perhaps a property management situation.  If you know of anything, please let him know!
  • Orlando Montoya will present a message on themes of personal risk taking, starting anew, and personal transformation at the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Savannah on Sunday, March 15 at 11 AM.
  • Cecilia Arango is hosting Literary Leaders, a book club focusing on leadership skills.  The event takes place on April 2nd at Southbound Brewing from 5:00-7:00 PM. Grab a copy of Simon Sinek's "Start with Why" and join the discussion.
