Rachel Tilghman attended Chapman University and works as an Area Vice President at Braze Solutions Consulting, where she leads the North and South America teams, partnering with well-known brands like Wendy’s, Burger King, Grubhub, and Canva to design and deliver customer engagement solutions that scale. With over 15 years of experience in marketing, customer engagement, and technology, Rachel combines strategy, creativity, and technology to help organizations build meaningful connections with their audiences. She is passionate about supporting women in STEM and contributing to Savannah’s growing technology scene.
Rachel is also deeply committed to community service. She currently serves as VP of Fundraising for the Junior League of Savannah, is active in the Cuyler-Brownsville Neighborhood Association, participates in her local neighborhood group on W. 36th Street, and hosts an annual toy drive through the Buy Nothing Group of Midtown.
Originally from Richmond, VA, Rachel has lived all over—attending college in Southern California, living in Chicago, New Zealand (where she first joined Rotary), and Austin—before putting down roots in Savannah in 2022. Outside of work and volunteerism, she enjoys horseback riding with her horse, Elmo, and walks with her Cavapoo Welly around Forsyth Park.

CLASSIFICATION TALK:

Hilary Maxwell Beightel and her family moved to Savannah just over three years ago, trading Washington, D.C.’s high-pressure political environment for a healthier, more balanced season of life. An Air Force brat, Hilary grew up living around the world—from Germany and Panama to Virginia, Arizona, and Alabama—an experience that shaped her adaptability and global perspective.
A graduate of Baylor University, Hilary has spent most of her career in public service and public affairs. She began with the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms, worked for Trent Lott during 9/11, and later served at the U.S. Department of Education on the No Child Left Behind program. She eventually transitioned into the private sector, including roles at DCI Group, DDC Advocacy, and Dell Technologies.
In 2019, seeking greater flexibility as her family’s travel increased, Hilary shifted to independent consulting. She now works with Strategic Elements, helping move policy forward beyond traditional lobbying across local, state, and federal levels, including regulatory work related to Medicare and Medicaid.
Hilary has been married to her husband, Eric, for 13 years, and together they’re raising two athletic children—keeping their family calendar full and their roots firmly planted in Savannah.
